Join the 5th Annual Free State Yoga Festival at Hometown Olathe Farm a full-day immersion into yoga, meditation, breath work, nature, wellness chats, dance, somatic healing, connection, community and expansion.

Free State Yoga Fest is a space to reconnect with yourself, your community, and the life you’re creating. Rooted in the heart Olathe, of this day brings together the energy, talent, and passion of KC’s Wellness Community.
Aligned with the powerful energy of the Lions Gate portal on 8/8, this year’s experience is centered around one question:
What is love – in your body, your relationships, and your life?
Through yoga, meditation, breath work, and intentional connection, you’ll be guided into a deeper awareness of how you move, feel, and show up.
Featuring 30+ local yoga teachers, healers, and wellness leaders, Free State Yoga Festival is a true collaboration of the Kansas City healing community.
Each presenting teacher is intentionally selected ensuring a diverse, aligned, and high-quality experience for all who attend. Every presenter, brings their own style, energy and perspective, creating a dynamic & thoughtful offering that reflects the depth of healing in Kansas City.

9:00-9:50 AM- 5K Fun Run
Join Shawn Lillig for a guided One Mile to 5K Fun Run of skipping, running backward, running with bubbles, hula hoop jumps, limbo, cartwheels, and a tribal yell station along the outer banks of the pond of the Hoff Acres.
10:00-11:00 AM-Live Music Yoga in the Vines

Come hungry! Hometown Olathe Family Farm will have delicious food and beverages available throughout the day.
Whether you’re grabbing lunch between classes, enjoying an afternoon snack, or relaxing with a glass of wine after your final practice, you’ll find plenty of options without ever leaving the festival grounds.

Staying Comfortable Throughout the Day
This is a full day of movement, learning, and connection, so we encourage you to come prepared!
You’re welcome to bring:
- A reusable water bottle (we’ll have a complimentary water refill station available throughout the day)
- Small personal snacks, such as fruit, granola bars, trail mix, or other light refreshments
- A small picnic, blanket or towel to relax on between classes
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for time spent outdoors
- Layers for changing weather throughout the day (swimsuit, shorts, change of clothes)
- Favorite yoga mat, blanket, gua sha, and your favorite yoga & meditation gear
Our goal is for you to settle in, stay hydrated, nourish your body, and enjoy every moment of your Free State Yoga Festival experience.
