Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, numbness & tingling, and sensitivity to light & sound-even temporary vision loss, etc. Yoga for Headache & Migraine is a gentle form of yoga postures, with a focus on deep breathing. A 2014 Study reports significant improvement of headache frequency and intensity with a regular yoga practice. Students may present to yoga to release the tension in their neck. Neck pain can be from repetitive movement, poor posture, holding your head in one position, or injury. The average adult human head weighs 10-12 lbs, one workday with poor posture & the neck begins to tense. This pain usually extends to your shoulders and down your back. Untreated neck pain can lead to headaches, migraines and even injury. This 10(ish) minute sequence is crafted to relives neck pain & “tech neck” by releasing muscle tension in the neck.
