Yoga for Headache & Migraine

Migraine is a neurological condition characterized by intense, debilitating headaches. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, numbness & tingling, and sensitivity to light & sound-even temporary vision loss, etc. Yoga for Headache & Migraine is a gentle form of yoga postures, with a focus on deep breathing. A 2014 Study reports significant improvement of headache frequency and intensity with a regular yoga practice. Furthermore, Yoga enhanced the Vagal Tone & decreased the Sympathetic Drive, improving cardiac autonomic balance {International Journal of Yoga}. Consult your doctor prior to participating.

I am a life-long yogi, who practiced many styles of yoga. I love how integrating pranayama (breath work) and asana (movement) release the body, leaving one practice feeling connected with self, surroundings and, free-of-mind.
